About First Avenue Counseling Centre
In addition to offering individual, couple, and family counseling, we also offer groups for survivors of violent loss, and classes on parenting, anger management, and domestic violence. Our services are provided at such low cost thanks to the generosity of our staff and donors. Most of our counselors work on a volunteer basis, either as part of their therapist training or out of simple dedication to our mission. (Our counselors range from therapist trainees to fully licensed marriage and family therapists; for more information visit our counselors page.)
